    It appears my suggestion that Condi Rice is the most appealing VP candidate has legs. In fact Condi herself is giving the story legs. Power seduces the weak. She's been in Washington so long that I guess she is investigating how to prolong the ride. If Barack is the Democratic candidate, I think having some color on the Republican side of the ticket would be a huge boost for McCain. I can think of no other Republican politician who can do more to help McCain's image that Secretary Rice (despite her abject incompetence as a national security advisor and, to a lesser extent, secretary of state).
