Comment: Why hasn't he submitted dna for a test? Why doesn't someone take him into protective custody and let him speak? When will we know the truth and be given the chance to make amends toward the victims? Why do children not have rights in this country? He is a victim of our sick society and should be set free from the life he felt he needed to make in order to survive. He deserves to be who he is...not who anyone else wants him to be.

Comment: I've been interested in this case for some time. I guess having a boy the same age as Johnny when he was abducted is probably why. Can't imagine his structured secure life being traumatized like that. Can't imagine how that was for Johnny. I suspect one of the reasons Jeff/Johnny can't take a test and have his true identity be known is because his life is at stake. I don't think protective custody would help him. I think what he knows could implicate very high powers including the Bush family. At least this is what I've read from interviews done with others involved. I also think there are political powers and old rich names that keep him protected as long as he doesn't speak. He, in return for being quiet, gets priveleges like getting into the whitehouse without needing proper ID and other favors. Then too, you have all that trauma and mind control manipulation. My God that's a hellhole to even try and understand. I think it would take a dramatic intervention from God to protect Johnny from so much evil as well as all that's in himself he probably deals with on a daily basis. I do believe he's going to be delivered very soon in an amazing and incredible way with a story that will absolutely freak out everyone. Just a sense I have. We have a big God and usually with kids like this there was a time when the pain and torture and agony was so bad they cried out to God. And guess what? God did show up for them in their spirits and in their hearts. We don't always see it on the outside but it wins. God always wins. When this truth hits Johnny/Jeff and and it overrides the power of the lies and the fear I think we will hear his story. Just my two bits. Call me crazy if you want but that's what I'm thinking.:)

Comment: I CAME ACROSS JOHNNY GOSCH'S STORY AND THE GOVERMENT INVOLVEMENT THEORY AND CANNOT OR DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT THIS EXISTS.IT'S TERRIFYING TO REALIZE THAT THIS CAN AND DOES OCCUR. Comment: Johnny was our paperboy. We lived in West Des Moines up until a year ago. This story has affected our city for over 25 years. If Jeff Gannon is Johnny then I think we all have the right to know as it has affected each and every one of us. I find it very interesting the part about the other person having that name when he disappeared. I truly believe he is alive and is being silenced!

Comment: Thanks for the comment DaniGirl. If Johnny = Jeff, it very well could be that he is being threatened to keep silent. The threat extends not just to himself but, also, to family members. Would you speak if doing so put your mother in danger? I suspect this is the case.

Did anyone ever think to look up James Guckert's (Jeff Gannon's real name) age?? It's not him. It never was. That was so pointless. Drive to Conneaut Lake, PA and check out some year books... hit up his brother's house. Wow, talk about some sort of creepy publicity stunt.

Comment: Yes, the theory that Johnny Gosch --> James Guckert --> Jeff Gannon is speculative. I'm just one small voice among many who have made that connection. More backstory. The James Guckert from PA may be another assumed name. No one can say for sure who Jeff Gannon really is without a DNA test. Jeff Gannon promised to take a DNA test during a national television appearance but I'm not aware of that ever happening. If that happens, please post a link.

Comment: The few persons identified as operating the Franklin pedophile ring were members of the Republican party. I have not read one news source (or even blog) alleging that a member of the Democratic party was involved in the operation of the Franklin pedophile ring. Send me a link to any news article or blog writing about Democratic involvement in the operation of the Franklin ring and I'd be glad to post the information. The kidnapped boys (from the midwest) were allegedly turned into prostitutes. Did Republicans and Democrats patronize the prostitutes? I have no knowledge of who the patrons were but can easily accept members of both party were patrons.
Perhaps what has you in a tizzy is the title to this article calling the pedophile ring ran by Franklin a "Republican pedophile ring". The individuals, to my knowledge, who ran the ring were members of the Republican party but none were elected officials nor high level party officials. So a criticism aimed at the title to the article using the word Republican has merit. Thus, I've changed the title. Franklin was a Republican but I have not seen any evidence indicating officials of the Republican party were connected to the operation of the ring so I accept criticism on that level.

Comment:I know that there's no statute of limitations for murder, but how about for something like obstruction of justice or some similar charge that might apply if Johnny Gosch had been a runaway instead of a kidnap victim? Also, a similar question with regards to Noreen, if she had known or had reason to know that her son had not been kidnapped? Would statute of limitaions have run out for those kind of charges?
