Airlines subpoena FBI over 9-11 The Presidential 9-11 Commission did a half-ass investigation into the malfeasance of our own government in preventing the 9-11 disaster. But perhaps the US airlines being sued by the families of 9-11 victims will do the job for the American people. In a civil lawsuit, litigants have subpoena power. The airlines are "seeking to force five FBI employees to provide testimony that may help defend against claims the companies share blame in the attacks." Link. The airlines' theory of the case is that the FBI had information indicating a terrorist attack was imminent but failed to pass that information along to the FAA. The position that FBI / CIA possessed information prior to 9-11 indicating an attack was imminent looks rock solid. Link. The billion dollar question is whether the FBI / CIA malfeasance in failing to raise the alarm throughout effected federal and state government agencies was merely negligence or an intentional act. If intentional, who orchestrated the suppression of alarm pre-9-11? The public deserves answers. 05/01/2008. Add Comment Permalink
