 Craigslist, the mega internet pimp The dirty little secret about Craigslist--it facilitates massive amounts of prostitution including pimping of underage girls. Just put "Craigslist prostitution" into google and read the articles. Here is a sample: "Four Westchester County police departments say they have arrested 66 people in a monthslong probe into high-priced prostitution rings that advertised on" Craigslist. Link. Or "12 Arrested For Craigslist Prostitution", Link. And I'd be remiss for not mentioning the Illinois church pastor nabbed trying to hook up with a postitute off of Craigslist. The buzzword on Craigslist for hoes is "erotic services". As a test, I went to my city on Craigslist, from the services category clicked on "erotic", then W4M (women for men), and then I clicked on the first listing on the page. Warning: not work safe pic. No joke, this was the first ad. There are dozens and dozens of ads in straight, gay, and multiple combinations. The response from Craigslist? They claim to have taken measures reducing the volume of erotic services ads by 80%. No shit? Here's a thought: if you want to reduce the number of prostitutes advertising on your site, why not just delete the "Services / Erotic" category?
