 This lesbian chick can flat out interview. Hands down, she's the best journalist, interviewer on network television (yes, it's cable but owned by NBC). Literally, she is in Mike Wallace's league, the prime Mike Wallace, not the 110 year old version. I believe her non-confrontational style and boyish demeanor make her even more effective. She puts the subject at easy before moving in, knife in hand, intent on disemboweling the victim. Think about the softball, kiss ass interview John King of CNN recently gave to Dick Fucking Cheney. Not in a million years would Rachel have rolled over for Cheney ala King. Compare the King-Cheney interview to this.
Colin Powell wants to go on television and distance himself from the six Bush officials (mostly lawyers) who are being investigated for war crimes in Spain. Rachel ain't having it. Colin did the country enough of a disservice by lending his name and gravitas to the Bush Administration for use in promoting in its war of aggression against Iraq. If he had any balls, Powell would have resigned before the invasion and refused to give the propaganda briefing at the UN. Powell sat on a committee which supposedly approved the new Bush torture policy. Again, no balls. You sold out Colin. I very much hope you are indicted in Spain. We reap what we sow. 04/02/2009.
